Baygel the bracelet form bread!!!!!

My dearest and adorable friends

Today we will talk on special type of bread...

Bagels are one of the few breads that are boiled then baked. This creates a soft inside while keeping a crisp outside.

Though the origins of bagels are somewhat obscure, it is known to be widely consumed in East European Jewish communities from the 17th century.

Its name derives from the Yiddish word 'beygal' from the German dialect word 'beugel,' meaning ring or bracelet.

This ring or bracelet shaped bread was brought to the United States by  Polish-Jews immigrants, however was more popular throughout North America in the last quarter of the 20th century,

Over a billion dollars worth bagels are sold each year in the United States and the National Bagel day is celebrated on the 9th of February :)

So friends if you having a Bagel or enjoying your sandwich...or eating your pain maison...

Then Bon appetit..

Wishing you a great day ahead.
