My dearest and adorable friends

 Today we will talk about a quote posted by one of our friend on FB.

 “It doesn’t make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.” - Steve Jobs

Is it ego not to accept useful and promote good ideas of subordinates or is it insecurity because you fear your position or is it hiding your incompetency...

So many reasons...But who is at loss...of course the company...

Then what happen if you do not listen to them....

 Option 1...They stop giving ideas…and go with the flow...

 Option 2..There will always be a clashes and very soon they become the black sheep...

 In both cases...Again the company is at loss...With option 1..You underutilize your human capital...


With Option 2...You have a frustrated and demotivated staff...who will underachieve...and eventually leave the company...

 Option 2 can be a vicious circle...where you hire...train...and let your own insecurity and ego force the employees to leave and again you hire...again train....

 This is a highly debatable topic and we can have different views from different angles...We will surely come back to it later on.
