The practice of April Fool pranks and hoaxes is at times marked with controversy.

The positive view is that April Fools' can be good for one's health because it encourages "jokes, hoaxes...pranks, and belly laughs", and brings all the benefits of laughter including stress relief and reducing strain on the heart.

Various April Fools' campaigns have been praised for their innovation, creativity, writing, and general effort….

The negative view describes April Fools' hoaxes as "creepy and manipulative", "rude", and "a little bit nasty".

When genuine news is published on April Fools' Day, it is occasionally misinterpreted as a joke… Like the sound proof window panes…originally a prank now a reality.

On the other hand, sometimes stories intended as jokes are taken seriously. Either way, there can be adverse effects, such as confusion, misinformation, waste of resources, and even legal  consequences.

Anyway it is a day of mischiefs…Good Mischiefs…And what about people born on this special day…Are they really Mischievous????Let’s wish them a Happy April Fool Birthday.

Today we discuss an interesting topic. Are you passionate about your job and are you eager to go the extra kilometer.

It seems that so many of us are searching for that elusive career that embodies Confucius’ quote to “find a job that you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Motivation researcher Frederick Herzberg says the big reason we’re unhappy in our work is that we have a fundamental misunderstanding about what motivates us.

He breaks down motivation into two categories: Hygiene Factors and Motivating Factors

Hygiene Factors: These are the day-in, day-out considerations of the job, and what the job  provides for us. These include, “status, compensation, job security, work conditions, company policies, and supervisory practices.

Motivating Factors: These are the factors that make us love our jobs, and include, “challenging work, recognition, responsibility, and personal growth.”

Author Christensen says that we spend an inordinate amount of time weighing hygiene factors, they only keep us from being dissatisfied – but they don’t make us happy in our work.

Only motivating factors can make us wake up excited to head to the office, and in fact, when present we often feel that we’re not doing work at all… And that makes you feel a whole lot more like fun than work.

Happy Birthday to the Prime Minister of Mauritius.

The Prime Minister of Mauritius was born on the 29 March 1930 at La Caverne, Vacoas Phoenix, and was brought up there.

He had his primary education at Palma Primary School and had his secondary education at Regent College.

He was first elected in the constituency No 14 of Riviere du Rempart in 1963 in the National Legislative Assembly and was candidate of the Independent Forward Block.

In the beginning of the 1970s, SAJ joined the Mauritian Militant Movement.

He became the president and subsequently the leader of the party. Re-elected at the general election held in 1976 in the constituency of Piton/Rivière du Rempart, he served as Leader of the Opposition from December 1976 to June 1982.

Sir Anerood along with Lady Jugnauth took over the keys of the Chateau of Reduit on 7 October 2003. His election to the presidency was largely approved by the entire population as it was considered to be the new era of Mauritian politics.

However when parliament was dissolved in end of November 2014, SAJ was back in active politics as the MSM party conducted an alliance with the PMSD and Mouvement Liberateur.

The alliance was a general public hit and with their motto ‘Virer Mam’ they  won  comfortable 47 out of the 60 seats contested.

SAJ became Prime Minister for the sixth time and made history as he led an alliance that won against a Labour Party-MMM alliance.

Let us seize the opportunity to wish the Prime Minister of Mauritius a Happy Birthday. This day also coincide with my father’s birthday. Two great leaders in their respective field.

Mother is someone who loves us so much and we still yearn for more love from her….

Mother is someone who makes us realize how good we are…that there is no one better than us…

Her happiness is in our laughter…and her caring is beyond expectations…

She is someone always in our heart…well cherished…A place no one can ever take…A place as special as God…and for whom you can willingly embrace death…

She is someone you miss so much when you are far…a grief that can’t be measured…a heart tearing pain for someone you love so so much.

And today is a special day in Kam City…May I wish my Mum a long life, a very sound health,  lots of happiness and may the blessings of Lord Shiva be always on her for her birthday.

On this special day may the world be full of Peace…Love and happiness.
