Birthday of the "King of Pop".

Good Morning friends

Born on the 29th of August 1958, Michael Jackson was dubbed as the "King of Pop" and was one of the most popular entertainers in the world.

Jackson's contributions to music, dance, and fashion along with his publicized personal life made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.

His album Thriller is the best-selling album of all time, with estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide.

Jackson was also very much involved in charity and his charitable work and humanitarian awards continued with the release of "We Are the World" (1985), co-written with Lionel Richie to aid the poor in the United States and Africa. The song earned $63 million for famine relief and became one of the best-selling singles of all time, with 20 million copies sold.

On June 25, 2009, the king of pop took his last breath and left behind a very rich artistic heritage.

Have a thrilled day.

The Turmeric Latte

Good Morning friends

If you’ve never heard of turmeric latte, then get ready to be amazed, because your morning coffee is about to be challenged by a decaffeinated latte that works wonders.

The turmeric latte or Golden latte has wormed its way into stylish and healthy cafes in cities such as Paris or Amsterdam this year.

The Guardian has even named the turmeric latte as “your 2016 drink of choice” and Google's Food Trends report recently named turmeric - which is believed to be packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory healing properties - as a 'breakout ingredient'.

The new Starbucks turmeric latte will join the pumpkin spice latte as part of its autumn range and be available from 7 September in UK and maybe soon afterwards in Canada.

So, there’s no more getting around it, and if you haven’t seen it, it’s only a matter of time.

Have a great day.

We use power or Power uses us.

Good Morning friends

Today’s quote of the day is from JFK, the 35th President of the United States.

The men who create power make an indispensable contribution to the Nation's greatness.

However, the men who question power contribute just as indispensable, especially when that questioning is disinterested, for they determine whether we use power or power uses us.

Have a great week ahead.
