In the year 1990
Form 2---- Social Studies class..we were taught Man has 3 basic needs.
Roti...Kapra aur Makaan..i.e Food...Clothing and Housing.
And we view good food is a Home made traditional food.
We view good clothes as a tailor made trouser + a pair of shoes.
And a good house was just a 4 concrete walls to be safe against cyclones....
In the year 2016
The definition is same...Man has 3 basic Needs and it is still Food...Clothing and Housing.
But in 2016
Food means...KFC,McDonald,Pizza Hut,Burger King,Tim Horton......
Clothes means...Nike,Adidas,Levis,Puma,Boss,Mango,
Houses means...Flats,Apartments,luxurious houses done by well known builders...like Gamma,General Constructions, Mattamy Homes....
Some will say time has evolved and now we have more choices...Do we really have more choices or we have more IMPOSED choices?????
